Office of Neighborhoods (added 1/21/23)
The Office of Neighborhoods was created to fulfill two goals: 1) engage residents through outreach and events in a collaborative effort to make our neighborhoods safer and 2) identify and connect with our county’s unsheltered population to foster long-term relationships and break the cycle of homelessness, behavioral health, and/or substance use disorder in our county.

Mercy Watch (added 11/22/2022)
MercyWatch established a mission to serve the marginalized and outcasts; men, women and children living on the streets in Snohomish County. We do this with street medicine and homeless outreach.

Open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m

Located in the former Lynnwood emissions test station, the space was repurposed last year as a place for homeless people to use the restroom, shower and pick up basic hygiene products, food and clothes.
On Tuesdays, MercyWatch, a mobile medical team in Snohomish County, provides basic medical care to guests at the center as well.

The Cold Weather Shelter offers shelter when the temperature fails below 34. See flyer for details including whether the shelter is open today.
Homeless service providers in Washington are eligible for up
to $4,000 in economic relief
Applications open Sept. 29, 2022
Commerce is administering a limited program for eligible homeless service workers in Washington to receive a stipend of up to $4,000.
Homeless service workers with an immediate economic need and income at or below 80% of the county area median income where they live may be eligible for a stipend up to $2,000.
A second stipend payment of up to $2,000 is also available for individuals who received an initial stipend payment and are still working for the same eligible organization six months after approval of the first stipend payment.
Eligible homeless service providers work directly on-site with persons experiencing homelessness or residents of transitional or permanent supportive housing.

Feeding Pets of the Homeless (posted 11/25/2022)
Feeding Pets of the Homeless® is the first and one of the few national nonprofits providing pet food and emergency veterinary care to pets that belong to homeless people.
